Forbes magazine released its top ten list of the most expensive cars of the year.
10th place is the Porsche 918 Spyder at $845,000. Currently a concept car set to be made available commercially towards the end of the year.



9th place is the SSC Tuatara from Shelby Super Cars valued at $970,000. It is the fastest production car on the market.



8th place is the Hennessey Venom GT that goes for a cool $1,000,000.



7th place is the sleek Pagani Huayra at a $1,300,000 price tag.



6th place is the luxusious Maybach Landaulet for a mere $1,400,000. German auto experts spent a long time crafting this impressive vehicle.



5th place is the Aston Martin One-77, which is the same price as the Mqayback but ranked higher due to its superior engine.


4th place is the unique Koenigsegg Agera R, that runs on either gasoline or biofuel and is priced at $1,711,000. It also accelerates from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds.



3rd place is the Danish supercar Zenvo ST1 for the sume of $1,800,000. The engine has a startling 1,100 horses under the hood.



2nd place is the Ferrari 599XX for one easy payment of $2,000,000. There are a limited number due to the steep price.


1st place and the most expensive car on the market is the Bugatti Veyron Supersport for $2,600,000. This superious supercar is also the fastest with an astonishing top speed of 267 mph.
